FairWarning®'s Privacy Breach Detection Solution delivers solutions which scale up and scale out for centralized health systems, decentralized health systems, small to mid-sized hospitals, and large enterprise health systems. Pricing is based on the relative measure of size of your organization and the number of data sources/applications you choose to integrate in the FairWarning® solution.
+/- How long does FairWarning® take to implement?

FairWarning®'s healthcare customers represent over 1,000 hospitals and 4,000 clinics across the United States, Canada, France and the United Kingdom.


Implementation of FairWarning® occurs over an average of 12 weeks and follows the FairWarning® Speed-to-Value Implementation Methodology. The Speed-to-Value Implementation Methodology focuses on effective virtual collaboration, relevant, reliable data and reporting, and education and hands-on training for optimal integration of FairWarning® into organizational business practices. By design the FairWarning® solution is tailored from Day 1 to integrate into the highly heterogeneous environment of the hospital.
+/- What resources are required to run FairWarning®?
During implementation, extracting audit data from the clinical and non-clinical systems requires an IT resource with the technical skills necessary to write and run program(s) and schedule the job(s) to transfer data in an ongoing, secure manner to the FairWarning® appliance. This typically takes 1-2 business days per application. After implementation, customers find that their existing Privacy or Compliance team members jobs are streamlined by the use of FairWarning®. Running reports and investigations is subsequently very manageable using existing resources.
+/- Does FairWarning® work with all of my applications?

FairWarning® patient privacy monitoring solutions are compatible with over 185 electronic health record systems and are delivered as a turn-key appliance with over 200 proprietary privacy breach analytics included.

+/- How does FairWarning® fit into my overall IT infrastructure?
Once the pre-configured FairWarning® appliance is received, it will reside inside your secure internal network. The appliance is shipped with a rack mount slide rail kit for easy installation, and fits in any standard network server rack.
+/- What pre- and post-implementation support is provided?

All care providers becoming FairWarning® customers during calendar year 2012 receive the following end-to-end support through the life of their contract at no additional charge beyond contracted fees:

During Initial Implementation:

  1. Personal FairWarning® Implementation Manager directly available by email and phone
  2. Online project management workspace accessible by all customer team members, includes deployment templates specific to new customers, project plan, and progress tracking
  3. Door step delivery of FairWarning® appliance server and collaborative secure VPN setup
  4. Turn-key implementation of well in excess of 170 electronic health record and healthcare application audit and/or data sources
  5. Contracted number of audit or data sources integrated into deployment
  6. Flexibility to add any audit source to deployment, the customer does not have to contract for "named" audit sources. The only limitation is that audit data must be available from application
  7. Advanced analytics and filtering with authoritative user data (HR, identity management sources)
  8. Setup of cooperative correlation between FairWarning® and Enterprise Security technologies, such as Security Information Event Management (SIEM) and Data Leakage Protection (DLP)
  9. Instructor led, web-based initial product training sessions

Ongoing Support

  1. FairWarning® Support Team directly available by email and phone
  2. Over 200 privacy breach analytics available to detect patient privacy breaches
  3. Ability to create additional custom privacy breach analytics
  4. Ongoing incorporation of new privacy breach analytics based on customer feedback
  5. Audit or data sources beyond contracted number can be added under pre-determined license and support fees, without additional professional service fees
