Leading Enterprise Security vendors apply to the FairWarning® Ready for Enterprise Security Program to deliver on a combined patient privacy monitoring and Enterprise Security solution, and achieve certification with product to product integration success at a common customer site.
Overview The FairWarning® Ready for Enterprise Security model positions each respective solution to audit and monitor events for which they were specifically designed: FairWarning® for clinical applications and Enterprise Security products for infrastructure-layer events. FairWarning® applies patents-pending business logic to data from clinical application audit logs as well as non-clinical application data to detect potential incidents leveraging the industry-leading FairWarning® Patient Privacy Analytics. How It Works The healthcare Privacy Officer sees the potential privacy incident in the FairWarning® user interface and via an email alert. In parallel, FairWarning® sends the potential privacy incident along with a payload of the events to the Enterprise Security tool. The privacy incidents appear in the Enterprise Security dashboard, and additional correlation and analysis on the network elements of the events is performed within the Enterprise Security solution. The interface between FairWarning® and the Enterprise Security solution leverages best-of-breed functionality while streamlining proactive incident detection and follow-on investigation.
