FairWarning is looking for a Director of Sales Operations to play a key role in driving our organization’s performance and efficiency. As an analytical and scrappy problem solver, the ideal candidate will use data and qualitative information to drive and optimize our Sales business. You will create and oversee scalable processes focused on increasing sales productivity and efficiency. You will also become the go-to person and subject matter expert in our core sales operations functions including sales forecasting, territory planning, alignment, targeting, incentive compensation, data governance, and sales metrics. Each day will look surprisingly different from the previous, but the consistent theme will be driving impact across the company.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop key performance metrics and dashboards that help the sales organization focus on performance drivers; analyze results and identify actions to address gaps
  • Provide recommendations and take action based on strategic objectives, forecast or performance metrics
  • Manage the evaluation and interpretation of data; identify trends that signal new opportunities or challenges and red flags; convert data trends into actionable sales processes and tactics
  • Build and help standardize business reporting for strategic analysis and internal business review
  • Implement customer lifecycle management strategies to track customer relationships from lead generation to revenue recognition including renewal and upsell strategies and processes
  • Deliver strategic projects that provide key business insights and high-priority initiatives as we enter our next phase of growth
  • Work with Finance, HR, and Sales Management to develop and implement sales incentive and compensation programs to increase sales productivity
  • Assist with sales territory and capacity planning and help create a plan to increase the renewal and upsell process
  • Identify sales operational inefficiencies and implement solutions that optimize performance
  • Oversee and support FairWarning’s sales forecasting and reporting processes
  • Partner cross functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to define and improve our lead-to-close sale process, reporting, and metrics
  • Work closely with Marketing to analyze and report on campaign performances
  • Build and standardize the sales and strategic analysis function for reporting across the entire organization
  • Lead executive analyses, strategies, and deliverables (e.g., board materials, QBR)
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for dashboards and reports, pipeline and forecast management, lead and call tracking, and data integrity
