Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

FairWarning is hiring Senior QA Analyst to scale-up the growth of our patented, market-leading product platform.  FairWarning solutions protect organizations of all sizes against data theft and misuse in Electronic Health Records (EHRs), Salesforce, Office 365, and hundreds of other applications through real-time and continuous user activity monitoring leveraging a combination of user behavioral analytics and machine learning algorithms.

  • Ensure FairWarning® platform is “Rock Solid” by validating it is secure, massively scalable, and easy to use through a constantly growing set of quality tests
  • Enable FairWarning® to bring new products to market quickly through manual and automated testing
  • Implement new innovative tools and processes to improve performance and processes of our software platform
  • Test and validate real-time streaming, complex analytics, and machine learning using the latest open source technologies
  • Contribute to Continuous Integration Testing development through creation of new tests

Description of Role

In this role, you will be able to make major contributions to the product platform. Responsibilities include assisting with requirements, and designing, developing and running manual and automated test scripts to ensure high-quality products.  Additionally, this role will improve our customer support and deployment model by working across teams and incorporating feedback into the platform. With a high attention to detail, the Sr. QA Analyst will have the ability to understand business problems and build business-friendly products and solutions. The Sr. QA Analyst is responsible for executing on and continuously improving the product quality vision. On a day-to-day, the Sr. QA analyst can expect the following:

  • Participate in Product Release Management through attending Daily Scrum, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, and End of Cycle meetings
  • Actively participate in product requirements and design discussions
  • Design, develop and execute manual testing scripts for all FairWarning® product releases
  • Track all test scripts, execution, and status of scripts in Zephyr and JIRA
  • Contribute to the usability of product through use case testing and feedback
  • Validate the product features meet all user and technical requirements as well as User and Implementation Guides
  • Duplicate and triage Blocking and Critical Production defects as required by Customer Support Team
  • Execute Implementation Tests and review with Implementation Managers and Developers
  • Implement New QA Test Processes, Test Environments, and QA Products based on QA Best Practices


Successful candidates have the following background:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in software development or product development environment with a successful testing and/or analysis track record
  • Experience writing and modifying test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Creative problem solver and analytical thinker with attention to detail.
  • Experience with basic SQL
  • Experience with basic Linux commands
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related degree or equivalent work experience
