Since then, the scope of the work has continued to expand as GHS and Palmetto Health partnered to form Prisma Health, a not-for-profit health company and South Carolina's largest private employer, committed to excellence in providing patient care, conducting clinical research and teaching the next generation of physicians, nurses, dentists, and other medical professionals. Challenge With about 16,000 team members at the Prisma Health–Upstate affiliate alone, the privacy team realized that it needed advanced patient privacy solutions to save time, manage potential incidents, and maintain strong HIPAA compliance.
