“FairWarning Pay It Forward Hires” is an innovative new program in which FairWarning pays a $ 1,000 referral fee to any personwho refers a candidate who is hired by FairWarning. Additionally, FairWarning pays $ 500 to one of our foundational charities for every “Pay It Forward Hire.” More information on the charities is at the bottom of this email.
Four Winners Every Time
We call the program “Pay It Forward” because everyone wins and we make the world a little better place with every hire: 1) FairWarning gets a great new team member, 2) the new team member joins a fast growing Top Workplace, 3) the referring party is paid $ 1,000 for their relationship introduction, and 4) importantly the charities and community win. We think this is right-minded entrepreneurship and challenge other Top Workplaces in the community to match or even exceed our program. This program, like Next Generation Entrepreneurs which we founded with the Pinellas Education Foundation, shows that great businesses invest in, and care about their communities.
Why Pay It Forward Hires ?
FairWarning’s growth drives our continual need for great people, and we think the best way to find great people is through personal referrals. In the past, companies paid only their employees referral fees. FairWarning is changing the rules and opening the program up to the public so that we can get more leverage in our searches, and everyone gets an opportunity to get paid for a relationship introduction. We are hoping to tap into to our 4,500 + followers on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter to find great people that match our values.
The Rules are Simple
- The job opening must be identified as FairWarning Pay It Forward Hire
- FairWarning pays $ 1,000 to the “Referred By” person named on the hired candidate’s employment application once the hire works at FairWarning for 90 days
- FairWarning is legally obligated to generate a 1099 for the person receiving the $ 1,000 fee
- The new hire selects the charity for FairWarning’s additional$ 500 donation from one of the following; 1) Khan Academy, 2) Friends of Strays and 3) Environment Florida
